FAQ
Do you have a Discord server?
Yes, we do. The ByteBots Discord server is the main hub for support, announcements, previews, and community discussions.
You can join here: Join the ByteBots Discord
Inside you'll find support channels, feature request areas, update logs, and early previews of upcoming modules.
Can I sell bots I build using your repository?
Yes. You are free to build and sell bots created using the ByteBots repository and BB-DBotBits library.
However, if you use the project commercially, our licence requires that you support the project through a donation via our Buy Me a Coffee page .
ByteBots is independently developed and maintained, and contributions help fund development time, hosting costs, and future feature expansion.
Can I read the BB-DBotBits licence?
Yes. The full licence is available in the repository and outlines usage rights, commercial permissions, and contribution guidelines.
Please review it carefully before deploying or monetising any projects built with the library.
Will this library receive regular updates?
Absolutely. ByteBots and BB-DBotBits are actively developed.
Our roadmap includes performance improvements, new modular features, expanded automation capabilities, and better configuration systems. Stability and long-term maintainability are core priorities.
Can I request new features?
Yes. We actively encourage feedback and suggestions from the community.
There is a dedicated feature request channel in the Discord server where you can submit ideas, improvements, or integrations you’d like to see.
While we can’t guarantee every request will be implemented, all suggestions are reviewed and considered for future releases.
